As I was deciding on what would be my inspiration, I began to enter into a zone. This is something that I have always been able to enter when I take time with just me and my camera. It is a zone where I am able to look past what is around me and find beauty. I kept hearing the word perspective over and over in my mind. I prayed that the Lord that I would continually be able to see things with a different perspective and always be able to find the good, beauty, and joy in any situation.
It was only a 20 or 30 minute walk, but I felt like it was a photo walkabout. A walkabout to help strengthen my perspective. These are areas right around my house, yet I feel as if I captured images that were from other places. It was a beautiful way to end my day, and my weekend.
Here is an example of how you can take a photo and make it feel different just by changing your perspective. Below is what the surroundings really looked like.
Anyone remember 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids'?
